Photoshop CS 3 Public Beta

Die Gerüchteseite Think Secret glaubt, dass es demnächst eine öffentliche Beta-Version von Photoshop CS 3 geben wird. Registrierte CS 2-Nutzer sollen diese möglicherweise schon Ende der Woche herunterladen können.

Laut Think Secret ist der Hauptgrund für diesen ungewöhnliche Schritt Adobes die Tatsache, dass die Mac-Version auf die neuen Intel-Prozessoren optimiert wird. Um frühzeitig Bugs zu entdecken, erwartet man offenbar fleißiges Feedback von Intel-Mac-Usern.

Apple hatte erst kürzlich das Fehlen von Universal Binary-Applikationen von Adobe bemängelt.

Adobe hat’s offiziell gemacht. Die Beta kann ab heute (15.12.) bei Adobe Labs heruntergeladen werden.
